You'll get a nice overall view of MIA, hear a slight throttle down to climb power at the 1:42 mark, see the southern part of downtown Miami and see The Port of Miami including Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Sea's cruise ship which my wife & I just came off of.

For the last post of 2008, a favorite of spotters at YUL. An Air France 747-400 landing on runway 24R at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport. Over the next few years, Air France will be retiring the passenger version of their 747's. So 2009 may be the last year to see this jumbo at YUL. Sad but the arrival of the A380 planned for 2010 kind of makes up for it.

This is the delivery flight of Air Canada's first Boeing 777 (a 777-300). After performing a low altitude fly by (a video of this can also be found here), this aircraft touches down for the first time on Canadian soil at Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport in Montreal. This event also coincides with Air Canada's 70th anniversary. Congratulations to Air Canada on this historic day.

Here we see a Japan Airlines 747-400 landing on runway 24R at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport. JAL does not normally serve YUL but this special charter is bringing Japanese tourists to see the fall colours (changing of the leaves). This type of charter appears to be getting more popular every year as there will be a total of 7 JAL flights to YUL this year. The most ever.

Here is a montage of the balance of the video I took at the 2008 Quebec City Airshow. In the video you will see performances by Skip Stewart, Gene Soucy, the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, it was a pretty cloudy day on the Saturday so the video is a bit dark. We also got some rain showers later in the afternoon so I don't have any video of the Snowbirds who had also performed.
